Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I have loved reading all the posts here and seeing all the great pictures. After thinking about it more, I think I will get only one puppy then get another one down the road. Thanks for the advice.
I have a question, maybe someone can give me some advice. I am talking to a woman that just had 2 pups last week. She said the parents are AKC but the the person who sold her the mom didn't sign the transfer papers, so she can't register the puppies. They will be CKC and ACA registered. Should I consider her pups? I am thinking of possibly doing shows and/or breeding (if it is breed standard and I have more experience). She will give full rights, but it wouldn't be AKC. Or should I try to find a good breeder that will give full rights that is AKC? Hmmmm, I think I should go with AKC, but I am not 100% sure. |
