I can only speak for myself, but when I do purchase my Yorkie, I'm going to make sure that I know WHO the actually Breeder was, what environment the puppies were raised (I want to know they have been socialized properly), and that they come from a Breeder who actually has a vested interest, both emotionally and ethically in producing Yorkies with good health and good temperments.
And although statistically there might an opportunity to find a nice puppy from a broker, I , myself, would feel uncomfortable in purchasing from anywhere where the opportunity to actually see both the parents in person, or witness the environment where they have been socialized, is not available to me.
Besides.....who wants to miss going over to the Breeders house and playing with all the Yorkie Pups!
