Animal Smiley 019 Pancreatitis

Hi everyone! I am new to this site and am very impressed with all the support you give to one another! My little one, Zeus, who will turn 2 on June 28, has been diagnosed with pancreatitis. He has never been fed table scraps and only ate Hills Science Diet. 4 months ago, he threw up a yellowish substance and we immediately took him to the vet. She diagnosed him with pancreatitis and put him on antibiotics for 2 weeks. During and after the treatment, he seemed just fine, as if nothing was wrong. We switched him to low fat Canin food and just this past weekend, he had another attack. So, he is now on Hills RD food, since the vet said he needed to be on a diet low in fat and high in fiber. I feel like we are doing everthing we are suppose to, and yet Zeus still gets sick. I am hoping this will work and this will be the last time that we have to go through this. Little Zeus is my heart and I just want to make sure that he has a long and happy life. I would love to hear from any of you who have experienced this and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
