So sorry to hear about your little one.
I agree we see to many Yorkies with LS.
I just wanted to tell you that I know of many that have had surgery and done just fine. Also it will help your baby if you give a low protien diet.
And as special laxitive that keeps them with soft stools. This is real important for the liver babies.
I have been told that the Univeristy of Tennissee is one of the best places for surgery and they do this often on Yorkies.
There is also to groups on Yahoo that are for Yorkies with liver shunt.
You may want to check them out, I think they could give you a lot of information.

Learning how to care for them and the diet is so important but I do know many that have done well.
