I have a lab puppy and a yorkie puppy. My lab is around 14 weeks and he weighs 25 lbs, my yorkie is 22 weeks and weighs 2.8 lbs. They love to play but the lab hurts the yorkie sometimes. I can not leave them alone, I have to be constantly watching because even though he don't mean to hurt her he is so much bigger than her and he steps on her. I have to lock him out of the back yard and let Hannah out to play. I have a golden retriever that is over 1 year old and her weighs 70 lbs and he is so gentle with her that I can trust him. But the lab puppy is still too young to realize. I think that when he gets a little older that he will be more gentle but right now it is not a good time for them to play with each other, even though they love each other so much.
