Last January I went to Michigan to pick up my Carson from a breeder. My tiny Miss Abby was 2 and she was freeking out when I put him in the car to go home and avoided him for almost 2 weeks. I let them adjust and now a year later they are best buddies playing together all the time and sleeping next to each other at night.
If you get upset Lexi will feel your stress and will react, trust me in time they will work it out.
