My sister developed an allergy to crawfish. She would take benadryl before she would eat it! The allergy has since gone away. I guess her body was temporarily allergic to the iodine or something.

Here in south Louisiana, you're at an extreme disadvantage if you can't eat seafood. Seafood is sooo abundant . . . fish, shrimp, crabs, crawfish, oysters . . . all fresh and harvested locally!!!

That's a shame for anyone to be allergic to something soooo delicious! My heart goes out to you for having to miss a large part of your brother's wedding reception!
