He has something wrong with his stomach. I think it happens in those big dogs. I had a St. B once many many years ago. When we moved to Chicago, we had to rehome him with some friends who lived on a horse ranch.
One day Sparky was running with the horses along the fence and dropped over dead. His stomach had exploded!
