If I give Dixie something that takes a lot of chewing she'll often try to hide / bury it outdoors.
It was really funny when we went to a friend's farm - each dog was given a big "farm dog" biscuit. Dixie ran off with hers and buried it then came back to Dougal, took his biscuit off him - ran off in the opposite direction - buried it - then she came back to her farm dog friend and would have tried to take the biscuit off her friend but it was already eaten up!
