Connie, when you said that she swallows alot that made think that that is a sign of bleeding down your throat, when a child gets their tonsils out swallowing alot is something that we watch for, that is a sign of bleeding too much. Do you think that it is possible that she might have swallowed something sharp or bit on something sharp that cut her mouth or back of her throat? If it is bleeding then she would swallow it and blood in the stomach always makes you vomit. Did the vet do an x-ray or look in her mouth. I hope it is nothing serious and she gets well soon.
