We had the same problem in the crate and when Sophie was 3 1/2 months we let her sleep on the bed with us at night and she has only had one accident during the night in those six weeks. We take her out for the last time at night between 11-12 and are up between 6-7. We tried leaving her in a small bathroom with a potty pad during the day and she used the pad for her business but from what we had heard, they won't learn to hold it if they get the idea it is ok because you gave them someplace to go, so we started crating her during the day about 3 weeks ago. She just this week has stopped going #2 in the crate. She is still wetting, but we feel like there is some progress. It is slow, you just have to be patient. |
