Believe me you WILL know when the are fighting. My two females Jilly and Kenzi did not like each other at first when we introduced them. They are both the same age and we brought Kenzi in when they were both 10 months old. I have had to step in on numerous occassions to break them up. But then they will start playing. The fighting usually only erupts when toys are involved.
