Make sure they use the Iso whatever gas.. it is supposed to be the safest. ask how they are going to "sew her up" if they are going to use stitches... staples.... glue..... (lol...... tape??? i hear duct tape is good for everything).... also ask what you can expect as far as recovery time, if she will have to stay overnight (some vets require this,..... i have a theory that it is to get more money)..... and and any special accomadations or treatments she will need post op..... does she use a pad to go pee? or does she go outside? because they are so tired, groggy, and tender that they tend to have accidents when they are spayed/neutered.. so if you use the pads make sure they are VERY CLOSE to where she is recovering |
