Rebel was neutered last week. (6 mos - 3 lbs) I had pain meds for 3 days, but only gave it to him once. I, too, had to either hold him or crate him because he didn't seem to realize anything had happened and his BB's had not dropped, they had to be "dug out".I think you can tell if he needs it and if so, give it to him. If not, good.
