its good you went to the vet. Kennel Cough in puppies can turn into pneumonia if not taken care of right away. their bodies are too small to handle the infection without medication.

it could have been Cephalexin.. it says on the bottle.. but you know dr's handwriting.. and again with the accent.. i didn't want to ask him to repeat it 5 times.. i save the "Can you say that again" for the important stuff.. he let me read the side of the bottle it came from but i don't remember
however.. he did say they used to use this medicine on people but it had some bad side effects that are not seen in animals.. .it is a very specific medicine that only kills bacteria in the throat and surrounding areas.. it is red. and she takes it 3x a day for 9 days.
