Spanky had very heavy thick hair, even on her ears, from when she was just a pup, (I call her my Porky Yorkie). She would go totally nuts if we tried to trim the hair on her ears, so we eventually just gave in, let it grow and her ears became those adorable floppy pigtails...... totally suits her little personality.
When she has just been bathed, the ears look beautiful, like a girl having a truly great "hair day". I just love it.
