To be honest, I became a empty nester in Sept. when my youngest left for college. In preparation, I also put a deposit on a Yorkie ((after months of researching)).
Within weeks of my daughter leaving for, the house was full of puppy stuff that looked very much like baby stuff.
A pink stroller (( I like to walk on the boardwalk)), a pink pack and play ((pet gear, it is for a puppy)).
A portable fence and lots of fun puppy toys.
Yes, this definitely fills a void and its so much fun too!!!
