No big deal Hey Villette, no big deal. I was laying on my bed reading the papers, and the bed started shaking (and my bed weighs over five hundred pounds, takes four guys to carry in the headboard, not counting the footboard) and I glanced up noticed my bird feeder was rocking and rolling, and went back to the paper. We are so used to the earthquakes, that you will stop what you are doing, say, oh, we just had an earthquake and continue on with what you are doing. I have been in all the "big" ones since 1955 and it is just a part of living in California. I used to work for a company that specialized in seismic damage and retrofit, when things got slow, we would say a little pray for a "little" earthquake, no deaths, just one to shake things loose a bit LOL. |
