 Tape Worms
I found out over the weekend that my lil girl had a tape worm and that they get them from fleas. Just so everyone knows she didn't get them from my house!!! When my boyfriend bought her, he took her to his moms and his brother has a bulldog that lives outside, but was in because of the cold weather and that's how she got them. Anyways, the vet gave me a pill and that took care of it but is there anything I can use to make sure she doesn't get them again? She is 10 wks. and a lady that is a dog groomer told me I could use Adams Flea Off or bathe her in Joy and I also heard to mix up Drift and water in a spray bottle and that would kill them. I wanted to get more opinions from other yorkie owners before I did anything. I haven't seen any fleas on her, but she is still scratching and chewing a lilttle bit. |
