I was walking Chewy to the car after work, and this big dog starting walking slowly up to us. I scooped Chewy up in my arms, and the dog growled, showed his teeth and started charging at me. There was a guy there (not the owner), that saw what was going on and he yelled at the dog and started going towards it so the dog turned away. Anyway, really got my heart going!! Has this happened to anyone else? I always pick up Chewy when there is a big dog that I am not familiar with, but do you guys have any other suggestions to prevent something like this in the future?
