But I was wondering if these stay on better than the plastic ones that you can buy at petstores. I think they'd have those shredded to pieces!! We've unfortunately started that phase with my female (she shreds everything left out!).
Any suggestions?
I have never had a female in heat in the house! We used to raise Dalmatians, but they were outside. So I'm new at this!! |
i agree don't rely on anything to keep them apart we had planned on breeding sassy after the first of the y ear and were keeping diapers on her and belly bands on simba but oh well he ripped the diaper right off her and got to her the day i left his bellyband off!! We just had them a few months earlier than we planned but as long as i had the bellyband on him and diaper on her it was fairly safe but the bellyband helped more than the diaper on her.
So if you aren't ready for puppies just keep them seperated if you still want to purchase some diapers i do custom fit ones and they are double lined the inner lining is plastic and outer is soft diaper flannel. It keeps the moister from soaking thru and getting on furniture and flooring. Here are a few pictures of my diapers.
Good luck in your search and keeping your babies apart.
