There are alot of great Yorkie breeders that will ship to you so you don't have to limit your choices to your area only.
I know many people who would not have the beautiful dogs they have today if they had not been open to shipping.
Of course you would want someone who is established and has been around for while, not these new breeders popping up in every corner of every state.
