Hey better safe then sorry, in this case they shouldn't charge you since it is surgery related. I went twice afterward but I had 2 spayed at once so I figured I was entitled,
(plus I slept better just having them look
After thought: I thought I would mention also, one of the girls said to me when I did go in (I didn't call) "we would rather see owners like you, then like most we see who don't care" that said it all to me, never would I feel silly going to have them look to be assured.
