Definitely take her to the vet if the stitches look inflamed or irritated. You can also get an E-collar from them. Furbabies don't particularly like them, but they keep them away from the stitches! Especially if you're not there to watch them during the day. You can also buy some Bitter Apple Spray...it's safe to spray on stitched areas. Fair warning...not all dogs find it yucky! Luckily ours did. Between the Onesies & Bitter Apple Spray, we avoided the E-Collar.
