Cooper and Carter have been chewing on a wicker-type basket that holds my telephone books. It must be in a yorkie's nature to chew wicker. I will come unglued if they decide to start chewing on my expensive wicker set in my sunroom! Bitter apple has done nothing to disuade their chewing on that basket.

I have a cover over the wicker basket that holds their toys . . . I don't think they realize something is under the cover.

A shallow rubbermaid container would be my suggestion just as Chachi's mom posted above.
