I am actually talking to a member about buying an adult 2 yr old male who is not altered. However the age concerns me. Again I know nothing about breeding. So if I buy a 2 year old male does he still have alot of time to breed? What is the "cut off age" so to speak? I don't want to buy an adult and then have to rush to breed cause I am not positive I want to do that yet.
Ease of breeding would that be male or female?? Basically is a female better to have for breeding or a male? IDK |
A two year old mal is ideal to breed. Lots of years left. BUT, make sure you check the bloodline and all about his background before you buy him for breeding. he may not be breeding material.
