Thanks for the comments about my updates. I was wondering if I should continue or not now that Cubbie is home.
The latest news is that the swelling is way down but his eye is still red. Of course that will probably take some time. Unfortunately Cubbie now has raging infections in his ears. He goes back to the vet today so I don't have a full report for you. Sigh. When will this little guy get over this experience.
He hates to be alone now and never wanders too far away from his people. He used to go to bed when he was tired, now he sits at the bedroom door and tries to talk his mistress into going to bed too. This behavior isn't a surprise and perfectly understandable but it hurts to know that he was emotionally / psychologically effected by his experience too. It is a relief to know that he has a great loving family so he is getting all the affection and assurance he could possible want. Time will heal. |
