If you're looking for a vet that is personable and really gets to know your dog, then Banfield probably is not the way to go. The Banfield right by USF is decent, if you decide to go with them, but if you're looking for a great vet with affordable prices who really cares about the animals, then you should go to Companion Animal Hospital. It's not far from USF, and they're a lot less expensive than almost everywhere I've been. Dr. Duke saved my Miko's life when all the other vets did not believe he could be saved. It's a small animal hospital, but I can guarantee that you don't find people like that very often. His whole staff is just as wonderful as he is. They really love what they do, and have huge hearts.
