I think if your main goal is to get a second and possibly a third Yorkie in the future, then I would get whichever sex you prefer. Is the one you have now altered? I'm assuming that he/she is, since you didn't reference "it" in your post.

Anyway, I would think more along the lines of which would be the best "pet" for you.

Now, to answer your question about "stud service", most will charge a fee rather than taking a puppy, since Yorkie litters are typically very small (2-3 average, I believe). I have paid $200 and $300 for stud service. Some pay more ($500 is the max I've seen, but I think that particular stud had several CH's in his bloodline).
