Funny, I was okay about the snake, but would not let him get a tarrantula. I just kept imagining it getting out and waking up with it on me. No way! LOL! He recently asked for an iguana. I reminded him of the snake and we reasoned through it --
we decided he is really too involved with sports/school/girls to have time for a lizard. Whew!
