A year ago when I got my first Yorkie, Pirogue, I thot never, never, never!!!!
I wouldn't kiss him and he wasn't allowed to kiss me on the mouth. You KNOW where that tongue has been!!!! Sometime between him in June and Autumn in October things changed. He doesn't kiss very much and I think I taught him that. Autumn wasn't a very big kisser when I got her but somewhere kissing snuck up on me. Now we have Mr. Big and I can't get away from him!!! He's very persistant. I've started a new routine, when I come in the house from being gone somewhere they used to jump and jump and JUMP on me until I petted them and said hello. Now, I go into the bedroom, put things down, go to the side of the bed and sit down. Up until this time they've been excited but calm. Now they're jumping on the bed and on my back. I have to reach down to pick up Mr. Big and Lacijo. Then I cover my face with my hands and lay back. And get YORKIEFIED!!!! They lick my hands, my hair, my neck, my shoulders and pull my hair. Of course, I have to laugh, which seems to excite them even more. Mr. Big slips between my wrists and my neck and pushes his way between my hands and I get the tongue. So, I have to sit up and start all over. He's only 3# and I just can't figure out how he weasles between my hands when I have them as tight on my face as I can. He and Autumn are real bad about slipping me the tongue. I will kiss, and kiss but when that tongue goes where it isn't supposed to, I have to take a quick break. I usually yell, AAAAKKKKK!!!! And get the look that says "What's the matter with you?" |
