Having 4 children I used my electric skillet alot throughout the years because it was big and non stick. Here is one of my families favorites.
2 lbs hamb
1 diced onion
1 diced bell pepper
1 egg beaten
Season to taste with salt,pepper,garlic salt
Mix together and form patties. They should be pretty fat (not smashed down like hamburgers)
Coat each patty with flour and brown in skillet with a little bit of olive oil.
(they will not be cooked on the inside)
Mix together a can of cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup and pour on top of meat. Put lid on and simmer for about 25-30 minutes or until meat is cooked.
Serve with rice. |
