we gave my golden the mix of raw egg, milk, and rice when she was sick (she died eventually, but we kept her alive for a LONG TIME considering she probably had canine distemper (we kept her alive for a couple months..... but she had cancer too, which lowered her immune system....) i have also heard of people using boiled chicken and rice ............ i got some bad reprecussions from other dog people though for the raw egg thing because it can cause salmanilla poisoning or something? but ive never heard of any cases of that actually happening...
