My male is also 6mths and he just started to bark all the time.He's very skittish so he'll bark at anything.We would call his name and tell him,in a firm voice NO.If he still barks then we bring out the squirt bottle and spray him with water.He doesn't like it so he'll stop for a bit and it doen't hurt him.Hopes this helps.
