ok i understand. then may i suggest two crates... the poor little girl doen'st need to suffer because her brother is a bit behind her. I say get two crates... and stuff the crate so that the room he has is VERY VERY VERY limited... no more than his body length so he can lay comfortably and stand up.. nothing more... he will NOT want to pee in the only area he can sleep.. because he is in with his sister there is naturally more room.. so he can pee one place and lay in the other.. completely restrict his room.. we did that with layla and there was NO way she was peeing.. she held it till we got home.. but like you said.. start him small.. an hour or two... before you let him out then RIGHT to the pee pad and have a HUGE Party.. tons of praise and lots of treats! soon he will start to make the connection. how does that sound?
