Hi. First off. WELCOME!!! second.. i am a bit confused... if they are in an x-pen during the day with pee pads why do they go in their crate during the day?? it seems that THAT is where you are having your difficulties.. so why dont' they just stay in the x-pen? I found with layla it was MANY months before she slept through the night... she is 11 months and probably until she was 8 months she was up at 3:30.. i STILL wake up at 3:30 because i'm so used to it!. i used to hate hearing about those people who's pups held it!! but all i can say is hang in there... layla is now 11 months and she tells me when she has to go... (keep in mind we don't use the pee pads.. i'm not a huge fan) i wish i had some tips on how to train them to hold it.. but i think it is just time ... keep at it
