It has been VERY cold here in Ohio (10-15 below 0), as well as 18 inches of snow!! Lexie goes out in her winter coat to go potty and then runs right back in the house. They are a lot hardier than you would think. Last year I was a nervous wreck about her being outside in the cold and snow. This year ,since she is trained to go potty outside, we have had to deal with the weather. I stand out with her sometimes, and sometimes just inside the door. As soon as she is done, we run back inside. She is only 5 lbs, but does great!! She seems to mind the rain and wind worse than the snow and cold, believe it or not!!
