It really funny at first when you put them on the dog because their legs walk in all different directions as if they were trying to kick of the boots as they walk, but once they are used to the boots they look forward to you putting them on because they know they're about to go somewhere.
I would say by the size that's bigger for them because I bought xs which is the Yorkie Size but still wish I had bought the s because they don't slip off that easily.
