Let me say this - if one of my sons ever wrote me a letter telling me how much I hurt them - you can BET it would open my eyes.
I would never in a million years hurt my boys and didn't....but yes - it would work for ME if my own child felt the need to do this. it really would. It would make me cry for them - but it would really make me think and that's what you want.
