*sending a hug* i know it will sound trite.. but it is NOT your fault.. really it isn't... it may feel like it but whatever is going on with your parnets is their issue. Two years ago my mom was really depressed for the whole year (she had to work far away from us... felt my dad didn't understand. blah blah blah) and i know how you felt.. i tried to just stay out of their lives and i felt very alone ... like no one knew what was going on with me... and i hated having to talk to her in case whatever i said set her off... so i just avoided them both.. you are lucky to have your pup.. i didn't have layla then.. hang in there.. my situation got better... i hope that yours will to.
