Yeah... they are smart little buggers! I did the lunch meat thing but when Jewel started to spit out the pill, we started to give her pieces of lunch meat without the pill first - 2 or 3 small pieces then we give her one with the pill and finish up with one more with out.
Make a game of it. Have Tilly do tricks for them. The anticipation make them gobble it up.
Also if you ever need to give liquid medicine try this...
Get your luchmeat and put a piece of bread on it. Squirt the medicine into the bread and wrap it in the lunchmeat! This way you know for sure Tilly gets the full dosage!
