This is what gets me. I had wanted a dog for a while, but I took my time getting one until I was prepared to accept that it WILL poop and pee on the carpet until =I= properly train it. If the dog is not housebroken, that is her responsibility. At least she rehomed hers. The sad thing is that many dogs get put down in shelters, relinquished for the same reasons.

A great pet is not just born, it is made. Genetics play a role, but the owners are responsible for training them to behave the way they want them to.

I love my dog. This is my first dog. I was never a "dog person" before this, but I love this dog. I could never imagine giving her away to someone else.
