I get sad for the dogs too - what bothers me more is the stress, travel & general upheaval they go thru - NOT saying anyone in particular - but it just seems if someone chooses a dog - pays for that dog and ships the dog - then they should keep that dog.......but each person is different and I guess we all have different views on what constitutes a family pet and what doesn't.
I can understand a breeder rehoming to a point - but see so many older females now for sale ....which seems really sad .....Even if I were a breeder - there is no way I could give up a pet after loving it for years.
Good thing I'm not a breeder cause I'd be making a name for myself as "the crazy dog woman on the SW Side of Houston"
