Thanks guys, this is all helpful information. I've been torn about this for several weeks with no peace but I think this has helped. Tobie knows who is the mommy and the alpha dog, that was made clear from day one. If I'm laying on my back watching tv, he likes to lay on the pillow behind me and put his head on my shoulder and fall asleep that way. Its incredibly sweet.
