How about a play? ........ There is Broadway, Central Park, World Trade Center area - haven't been there since Christmas but then they had a walkway. Go shopping on 5th ave

If it gets real hot there is a GREAT wax museum right there on Braodway, can't remember the name Madam Tussain's or something like that, we went at Christmas time
