my last baby left for it's new home today. It is so quiet around here. I have gone from nine in my living room down to five within the past few days. That doesn't count frankie and the new litter. They are in a different room. Poor little Kandy cried when this one left. i wish you had seen her on her hind legs and then kissing and licking the baby a hundred times over. i picked her up to love her a little and when I kissed her, her little face was wet with salty tears. Steph and i both cried. it was such a pleasure meeeting all my new families and all the puppies are doing well except the little guy I sent to texas. he isn't adjusting well at all and I am so upset over it. I am ready to hop a plane to Houston and bring him home but I am not able to keep him forever so it would just be the same thing over again. we are giving him eevery chance to become the little man I know he can. I know he is scaared and lonely out there. His new mama is just wonderful, tho. She and I are trying to work things out about him right now. |
