Wrigley is 7 1/2 months old and when we used to go out, we would leave her in a pack-n-play with a pee pee pad, her crate and toys, but she would get really stressed out. She whines, cries, and jumps almost non-stop. Obviously she has separation anxiety!
So we thought we would try letting her have the run of the house ( the first floor ) along with our 5 year old Yorkie Poo. That seemed to be working fine for awhile, but we now have had two times where she has scratched, pawed at and I'm sure ate a patch of the drywall off two different walls in the house.
So now we think we need to re-train her to stay in the pack-n-play when we go out.

Any and all advice and help on the best way to get her used to and not so stressed out where she gets sick would be greatly appreciated!
Someone is usually home with her, so she's not left on a daily basis or set schedule.

Does anyone else have the problem of them jumping, crying and stressing out when you leave and how did you solve getting them used to that and staying confined?

Thank You!!
Dogs tht have seperation isues do best in a small kennel in a quiet place when left alone. I know ours did 100 %after we got a second pup. Our girl that had SA would chew carpet by the door and also she even once ended up behind the TV and in the Fireplace (no fire). good luck.
