 Mr. Itchy
My vet thinks I am nuts. I had Lucky (golden retriever) neutered a few months ago and ever since then his skin has been a mess. Very flaky and dry with brittle hair. His hair is not falling out and he is turning his stomack beet red from scratching. The only time he seems to be comfortable is when he is lying belly down in the snow. He used to only get the occassional hot spot in the summer but not he has a new hotspot or two every week. The vet says the neutering and skin are not connected. Am I nuts???? If I am not nuts what can I give him for his skin. He has been on the same food since puppyhood and nothing in his diet has changed. The only difference in him from last year to this year is his neuterment.
