I discovered this organization about 3 years ago, right before I adopted Tahoe. I had considered trying to adopt one of these rescues, but I didn't believe I realistically had the know-how to support a special needs dog. I had never had a dog before and I thought I needed more experience in order to be able to take on such a demanding responsibility. Instead, I started contributing to their organization by setting up a monthly autodeduction from my bank account. It's not alot and I don't even feel it. Honestly, if everyone donated so little as $10 a month, they could help so many dogs....they already do. I can't tell you how much I admire this organization for taking on these little lovable, yet challenging, dogs with potentially extremely high medical treatments and giving them a second lease on life. There's a special place in Heaven for these people.
