Hey. I'm also new to YT. I bought my 1st yorkie 31/2 yrs. ago from someone local. I now have 3 to love. I also researched for months trying to find out all I could. I heard alot of negatives about breeders breeding inferior litters. My babies are probably not show quality & to some may even appear inferior. But they're my babies & are perfect to me. They are healthy, happy, & have great dispositions. So go on out there, follow your instincts, & you'll find your furbaby to love. Unless you're wanting to show, or breed fancy bloodlines, don't worry about scouring the country side searching for the perfect specimin. I would much rather buy a pup from someone close by, that I can visit regularly, than send money across country & take a chance on being scammed. Good luck.
